朱晓冬，香港大学经管学院经济学讲席教授。本科与硕士均毕业于武汉大学，分别获数学学士学位与数理统计学硕士学位；1991年获芝加哥大学经济学博士学位，师从诺贝尔经济学奖得主罗伯特·卢卡斯。1992年至2022年任教于多伦多大学经济系，历任助理教授、终身职副教授、教授。2022年起加入香港大学经管学院任教授。曾担任清华大学经济管理学院特聘教授（2002-2011）、上海交通大学上海高级金融学院特聘教授（2012-2018）。朱晓冬教授是中国经济领域的权威专家，研究成果广泛发表于《美国经济评论》、《政治经济学杂志》、《计量经济学》、《货币经济学杂志》、《国际经济评论》、《发展经济学杂志》、《经济动态评论》以及《经济展望杂志》等国际顶级期刊。
